CONNECTION:
TWO MINUTES
Fifty-plus countries in one building, and the breaks run long on purpose. What happens between the sessions is the reason most people come back: the conversation on the study-tour bus, the introduction at the Rainbow Room, the table you did not plan to sit at. Here is what it looks like — and how we make sure it happens to you.
Connections
The people you meet between the sessions.
Moments from recent World Congresses — the study-tour buses, the receptions, the lounge, the awards dinner, and the corridor conversations that turned into next year’s decisions. Click any photo to see it larger.
If you are in one of these and would rather not be, tell us and we will take it down.
How it happens
Nobody here networks. Everybody connects.
Most delegates arrive alone. The week is built so that stops being true by the first evening: a welcome reception 65 floors above Rockefeller Center, two days on a study-tour bus with the same forty people, a lounge where the breaks run long enough to finish a conversation, small-group Ask Me Anything sessions, and a dinner at Capitale with the whole Congress in one room.
None of it is scheduled as “networking”. It is scheduled as the week — and the connections take care of themselves.
Coming alone? Tell us what you are working on and we will point you at the two or three delegates you should meet.
